Activities for Mums and Dads

Dads’ Football

Harrow Games offers Dads’ Football every week, which is ideal for both Dads who ‘can still kick it’ and for those Dads who need to wipe the cobwebs off their boots and bring back memories of former glories.

The atmosphere is ‘grown up’, relaxed and fun, with the intention to have a great work out and get fit. Depending on numbers, each week there will be a small 5 / 6-a-side mini tournament on two pitches, or one game on the whole pitch.

The evening is always supervised by an FA qualified coach, the pitch is floodlit and the surface consists of the very latest all-weather 3G artificial grass. All equipment, such as match balls and bibs, are provided and there is even a post-match blog with the match report on the Harrow Games website, so the banter can go on all week!

The games are intended for over 35’s but ‘Dads and their lads’ above the age of 15 are welcome to register.

Mums’ Netball

Harrow Games offers Mums’ Netball every week, ideal for ladies who have fond memories of playing netball at school or in a club when they were younger and now want the opportunity to play again on a regular basis.

The weekly netball session is available for anybody that loves netball, wants to have a great workout and keep fit. It is also a brilliant way to meet new friends and socialise. We all know, however, that ladies’ netball ends up being far more competitive then men’s football! So to keep the game flowing and everything under control there is a fully qualified netball coach to referee every week. The coach is also there to offer netball tips and drills, but more importantly to do the warm up and stretching exercises.

The atmosphere will always be competitive, friendly and fun, and to ensure the banter continues all week there is an opportunity for everybody to contribute to the match report and blog on the Harrow Games website
